Topic: Importing UTF-8 encoded files into crossTerm
Poster: Daffy
Hi all,
I am trying to import some Russian, Chinese, Japanese, etc. terminology into crossTerm.
The problem is that crossTerm accepts only CSV and TBX files...
So:
1) if I try saving my file in a CSV format, I'll get garbled text for the languages above (and for some special symbols as well), as they are not supported;
2) if I save my file in the UTF-8 format, my columns will be messed up and not recognized, while doing the import.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
Many thanks in advance!
Silvia
